rules

The basic rules that apply to most all TCGs. Please read through them even if you're already familiar with this sort of thing, there might be some useful information somewhere in here.

about your website

You must have a website to display your cards, and there must be a link back to Moonlight Legend on that site. This is so new people can join and you'll have more friends to trade with! Your site must be ready before you sign up.

MySpace, Xanga, and other community sites are NOT acceptable; those sites are not set up to allow for an easily findable trading post and often include popups and intrusive ads. LiveJournal, however, IS permitted - just be sure to make it a publicly viewable post!

You must have a detailed trade log on your site. Be sure to keep detailed records of which cards/tokens you have won from the games, and which members you have traded with. "Played some games, got [list of cards]," is not acceptable. It should be easy because the reward pages give you preformatted trade log entries! Oh, how advanced. :3

direct linking

You CAN direct link images from this site.

Read that again. YES, you ARE ALLOWED to direct link anything you want. In fact, the game rewards will give you the codes to direct link all your prizes! I have more bandwidth than most small countries, so I don't care about direct linking.

Of course, if you want to do things the hard way, I won't stop you. =p

about joining & starter packs

Please choose a unique, but easy to remember nickname. NO numbers or funky punctuation, please.

You will get a starter pack (instantly!) with three cards from your favorite set and five random regular cards. Please add your starter pack to your site within one week of joining.

Further instructions are available once you submit the form, so that's all I'll say about joining for now.

about the forum

You MUST register for the TCG forum if you wish to participate in Moonlight Legend. Several vital activities are run on the forum. You are not required to actively post or chat with other members, but if you like, you can post a wishlist there and get your trading done more easily.

So... after you submit that join form, please register for the forum using the SAME nickname you chose as your member name.

boring but necessary

Please don't cheat by taking cards from the site you haven't earned or by not taking down cards you have traded to another member. This game is run on the honor system and really won't be much fun for anyone if people are cheating. There's lots of opportunities to get cards so I promise you'll only be a "noob" for a short time!
