Just some quick updates... members! Welcome all! A couple of things... - Sasha, I need a screenshot for your member card. - Heathy, I couldn't access your image - could you email it to me? - Tara, we already have a Tara so you've become Tara2. Is that okay? And member cards!     games! Don't forget the hiatus games that update every Sunday. ^^b organizing! I redid the card page - what do you think? voting! Voting has begun at the Stellar TCG awards. Please go vote for your favorites. Yes, even if they're not ML. :p Mega-hiatus and awards don't really go together. XD affiliates! Oops, almost forgot. Remember that Rahenna referred you to Loop! :D

*waves wearily* I'm alive! opinions wanted! I've created a new game lineup based on your survey responses and my thoughts on the games. As you can see, all of the retired games are back on the list. ^^b I removed some of the unpopular biweekly games. Group collect, claim a card, and caption contest are also gone - group collect is rather inactive, I haven't done claim a card in months, and a few members said there's a bit of contest overload. Caption contest was the least popular, so I pulled that one out. Right now, the biweekly sets have eight games each - roughly 1/3 of each group is actual SM knowledge, 1/3 is simple games that don't require SM knowledge (like puzzles), and 1/3 is games of chance (war, slots). What do you guys think of all this? staff/donation thoughts I've been running Renai Doumei with Rikka, and it's been awesome. It really feels effortless since I'm only doing half the games, and it's easy to keep up with my share of the other duties. So thanks to Rikka. :D So, it got me thinking about the possibility of extra donations and expanded staff duties... - Would anyone like to try donating a round of games? It doesn't have to be ALL the games - maybe just biweekly set one or set two. Or it could just be a few rounds of one particular game. - Would any of the current (or possibly new? :D) staff be interested in doing some more things around the site? For example, maybe someone could post Sailor Wars results for me, or help create the mini masteries. Does this make me a lazy bum, or a smart manager who knows how to delegate? *has been reading too much management stuff at work lately* My vote is on smart - better to share and succeed than to be proud and fail. ^^b New members & affiliates to be announced soon. ^^b |

Or something. *is not a pirate* :p This isn't amazing site progress or anything, but there's finally a nice set of hiatus games up for your card-gathering pleasure. ^^/ I brought back several old favorites and mixed them in with a few simple but fun games. Hopefully it's a good set. And yes, lottery, lucky card, and passing notes will be sticking around! I'm going to be working on the game sets next. I mean, figuring out which games we will have for 2010. And then I have to add them all for the year. Good thing I'm stubborn enough to do the same thing over and over. XD |
